Welcome to a unique small business where our main goal is to teach responsible stewardship of the wide world of plants.

Jen Kettell is a certified arborist and horticulturist serving the New England area. For more than a decade, she worked as a staff horticulturist at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum. Now she shares her passion for teaching horticulture through the training she provides to both homeowners and green industry professionals. She is a guest lecturer and trainer at the University of Massachusetts, MA Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Arnold Arboretum, and the International Society of Arboriculture.

Currently, she collaborates with other industry professionals through the Landscape Advisory Committee for the Wakefield Estate and Arboretum and the Advisory Committee for the Norfolk Agricultural High School.

Jen’s instructions were excellent and she was a pleasure to hang out with for an hour. I’ve tried to learn pruning from books but I would still fret every snip. With Jen in the garden it was great to have that validation before I closed down on the clippers. I now prune with confidence and would recommend this class to anyone who loves their yard as much as I do!
