Our properties’ shrubs have never looked better! Jen has held a small tree and shrub pruning class for my crew at our Hancock Village site for the last three years. Both in the class and in the field, she covers and reviews all the aspects of ornamental pruning. She teaches everything from the various plants we are working with and the recommended pruning types for each, as well as the proper timing, the right equipment, and safety.

She has a fun and positive personality and her approach to teaching helps everyone improve their skills and want to learn more.

Your services have been met with great enthusiasm from my staff. They have become more engaged with their daily work as a result of the techniques you have shared. The bang for the buck is outstanding! The University administration has been impressed with the crew’s improved attitude... the combination of inside and outside training is a big plus for an inexperienced crew. I believe hands-on training is always the best when it comes to pruning and plant identification. My staff appreciates the time you spend with each and every one of them individually. The passionate attitude you have about teaching is reflective in my staff wanting more.
